“JOURNEYPAINT.HELLO.0L”

JOURNEYPAINT is a bespoke experimental paint app. The idea is to implement a set of tools not ordinarily seen in paint apps. By doing things “wrong”, allow things to break, setting tools to give totally unexpected results and allowing randomness there forms a new aesthetic guided by the code behind the drawings.

Mr. Yuk
“This is not a pipe bomb”

This is not a pipe bomb is a rework of rene magritte’s The Treachery of Images. In this version i aimed to send the same message about representation of an object vs the object itself but with a explosive depicted. With so much information being weaponized so aggressively now i think it can be a nice reminder that the map is not always the terroritory.
